• The day you accept offer from the company your planning should get started from that vary moment and tell them 45 days at the most to join.

• First check your passport for "ECR" status i.e. "Emmigration Check Required" on 1st or 2nd page of your passport. If it is stamped as 'ECR' which is only for those passport holders who are illiterate, this status appears on most of us due to unable to submit educational certificates of matriculation or above for normal person category during passport application process.

• To delete this 'ECR' status,if you are educated, then apply for re-issue of passport under tatkal if its urgent or under normal process selecting re-issue and then updating personal details and then delete ECR while applying online for re-issue of passport. Make sure you submit proper education certificates and as per new process when you get rid of 'ECR' status there is no stamp on new passport which means you are under 'Non-ECR' category.

• If its 'ECR' status and still you go to airport with proper Employment Visa issued by the new company from abroad, you will not clear Immigration check and will be offloaded from the airport.

• Also try to make arrangement for your accommodation in abroad if company is not providing you accommodation.

• Get the currency of the respective country where you are going for employment and check for the limit to carry currency. Please buy from legal sources and ask for receipt/bill which will help you in other country to declare currency.

Queen's Necklace better known as Marine drive is the place in Mumbai where most of the people living in Mumbai and people coming to Mumbai from other States or Countries loves to visit. Early morning, evening and night is the best time to visit. Avoid afternoons as it is hot and you won't find any shelter. Rainy seasons is the best time to visit especially when its drizzling. I have been visiting this place frequently when I want to spend some time alone and spend hours sitting and listening those relaxing sounds of waves, watching sunset. You won't find many such open and beautiful places in Mumbai where you can sit and relax enjoying the mother nature. Recently when I was here sitting quietly and enjoying the rain was the time I felt like sharing this experience which I know most of them had already did.

The best thing to experience is the nature...cool breeze and sound of waves, watching birds, also at the north end is Chowpatty beach where you can enjoy street food in evening. It is one of the amazing place to spend time alone for hours, to spend time with loved ones, a romantic walk, sunrise and sunset photo shoots, a good place to hang out with friends and family, enjoying rains is the best to experience. Also when you go to chowpatty beach in evening you will see fishermen's coming back with their catches varying from small to big fishes up to 5 ft.

It is well connected by rail and road. Nearest railway station in western railway is Churchgate station and in Central railway is Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus station. You will find many hotels along side the road from small hotels to five star hotels. Also you will find posh and wealthy real estate areas of the city.

Process for documents Verification and Attestation for Employment Visa of UAE

Hi, I have been following up with respective officials at respective government offices regarding Verification and certification of documents for UAE employment Visa. But didn't received useful information from any of these officials. They provided half of information which ironically was correct but of no use since none of them gave me the number of days in total would require to complete, basis on which I could commit my joining date to the company. I spent and wasted three days only to gather correct information regarding this and hurray I lost a week. I am writing this blog for all other people so that they won't suffer. I also did my research on internet but didn't find correct information neither on government websites not on other blogs.

(The procedure below is subject to change by government without prior notice.)

Following is the process for Verification and certification/attestation of UAE Visa application:

1. You need to go to respective university from where you graduated, to get a verified stamp on your Original Passing Certificate in person. For this purpose you need to carry original passing certificate and one xerox copy of passing certificate and mark sheet each along with Rs. 1050/- fees for fast track Verification. Submitting documents will take an hour. Normal they take 2 months for Verification and 15 to 20 days for fast track.

You need to keep following with the university within this 20 days, on their telephone number. Reference number would be the receipt number given after cash payment.

Remember to remove lamination at back side of passing certificate, if any, for this purpose or else they won't process further.The before said information is for Mumbai university, Kalina, Santacruz.

2. After you receive your verified passing certificate from university, you need to do Notary on your Original document and/or xerox if you want.

3. Now head to Mantralaya New Administration Building, Mumbai for attestation from Home Department(9th floor), which is done immediately and then from Directorate of Higher and Technical Education Department(2nd floor). You need to go to any of the gate of Old building and get a token or gate pass. For this you need to carry a Photo Id (original) and will ask a mobile number and which department to visit, that's its you have your gate pass.

Timings for submission is Monday and Tuesday only from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm, You will receive your documents on Thursday if submitted on Monday and Friday if on Tuesday. Please carry all the necessary documents along with your passport as this will help you to fill up the form. Also carry your recent passport size photographs (at least 3).

If you are already abroad then any of your family member(blood relation only) has to come for formalities along with handwritten and duly signed authority letter from applicant and Rs. 100/- stamp paper(affidavit) stating the same. Family member also need to carry proper Photo Id proof.

4. Once you receive your documents from Mantralaya, next step is to submit documents for attestation from Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and UAE Embassy, Delhi. For this there are few authorized agents appointed by Ministry, details of which is provided on Ministry website. This takes around 7 to 10 days and around Rs. 5000/- approx(location from Mumbai). They would require original certificate along with passport xerox copy. Also carry passport size photographs, if required. You can even proceed with other agents available but at your risk after investigating their genuineness.

**IF YOUR PASSPORT HAS ECR STAMP i.e. EMIGRATION CHECK REQUIRED THEN GET POE CLEARANCE FROM BUREAU OF IMMIGRATION FROM ANY OF THEIR POE OFFICES OR  GET THE "ECR" STATUS CHANGE TO "ECNR" ON YOUR PASSPORT OR ELSE YOU WILL BE NOT ALLOWED TO BOARD.
